The Rummage Sale money for food to serve the 285 Corridor needy.

To make sure there is no confusion, 100% of Rummage Sale proceeds goes directly to the community. While St. Laurence Church houses the food pantry and provides space for Outreach events, the church itself receives no benefit from the funds raised at the Rummage Sale or any other Outreach project. The Outreach Project is staffed solely by volunteers from the church and the community.

St. Laurence Outreach has held this Rummage Sale since the late 1970's with all proceeds from the Rummage Sale benefit the 285 Corridor directly. And, Leigh's Pantry (the St. Laurence Outreach Food Bank) provides food staples to clients referred by the Mountain Resource Center and other county agencies. Leigh's Pantry is also a grateful recipient of the "9 Cares, Colorado Shares" food project, and is also supported by local businesses with in-kind contributions of food and other essentials. Leveraging this further, for the last several years St. Laurence's Outreach has joined with the Mountain Resource Center to help families by funding food and non-food needs through matching grants.

For more information, or to donate food or funds specifically to Outreach, contact St. Laurence Episcopal Church at 303-838-2457.
